Ashtanga Foundations: Diet and Progress in Yoga Part One-Part Four
Yessss! Thank you so much for talking to us about this in connection with our physical practice. In Jamaica most people talk about vibration constantly, and they understand this and live it on many levels, including food. The presence of so many slender, muscular people was amazing - walking, fresh air, good company, this is all part of our diet, too. Thanks, David!!
David, thanks for the great tips about eating well. Yes, it's true that the practice is either helped or hindered by your diet. I know since I've become a veggie again and cooking for myself each day, my practice has grown much stronger. And yes, the fire for practice does die down after eating poorly the day before. It's a great reality check each morning on the mat!
