Guruji, my teacher

Hello Students,
This week I'm out of town on a workshop in Breitenbush, Oregon! My post this week is on a talk I gave about Guruji a few months after he had passed away. I wanted to share it with all of you. I hope you enjoy it.

Om Shanti,
David

  8. Your words are beautiful, David...each one powerful and clear; we are so lucky to have you. Your talk reminded me in some ways of Plato's "Allegory of the Cave," which I have been likening to practice quite a bit lately...

  9. I accept that you are my teacher because you make me laugh and cry in the same breath! Your sense of humor about the struggle to learn something and what we call "irony" is really the wisdom. There is so much responsibility in just showing up to the celebration; the rest is like a comedy that unleashes for the rest of the day...
